The LSWO Conference 2008 is in collaboration with the Center for Latino Research at Depaul University

Family Justice is the theme for the 2008 Conference. One of the highest concerns for the LSWO is the need for quality human services to underserved populations. We highly respect all human service professionals that provide essential services to the Latino community.

What do we mean by Family Justice? There are many injustices being committed by various systems upon the Latino family. We believe a strengths and empowerment perspective is needed to address the many issues impacting the Latino family. This conference will address the needs of many helping professionals who devote their time, knowledge, and skills needs in research, clinical practice, community intervention, and higher education. There are many challenges which we all face in the future. We welcome you all to the City of Chicago to Learn, Share, and Network.
